I’ve ghostwritten many sample chapters for authors, as well as numerous full manuscripts. I can’t disclose names due to confidentiality, but I can tell you that my writing clients have included CEOs, professors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, consultants, self-help gurus, and other experts in their fields.
I work with my ghostwriting clients by recording zoom interviews, typically once a week. During each interview I ask lots of questions to get them talking about their best ideas and stories. I then rework those transcripts into well-organized and polished chapter drafts, then we collaborate to fill in any gaps. I work hard to make sure that the chapters – and the sections within each chapter – are in the best possible sequence, so the whole book will flow and the reader will stay engaged from start to finish.
During my Big Five publishing days, I ghostwrote opinion pieces for authors that ran in major publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. I also wrote countless original pieces of flap copy, press materials, pitch letters, marketing copy, email blasts, and website copy for hundreds of books, including New York Times bestsellers such as Simon Sinek’s LEADERS EAT LAST and Scott Galloway’s THE FOUR.
If you need an editor rather than a ghostwriter, I can collaborate with you to improve the structure and clarity of your own writing — at any length from a tweet to an article, book proposal, sample chapter, or full manuscript.
Please see my Quotes page for praise from some of the authors I’ve edited, ghostwritten for, or co-written with.
